Our Sauna Journey
Sauna Cairngorms began with a simple idea: bring people together through the ancient ritual of heat, fire, and water.
Living here in the Cairngorms, we’ve always been drawn to the wild — the lochs, the forests, the mountains. After a day outside, nothing feels better than stepping into the deep warmth of a wood-fired sauna, letting muscles soften and the mind slow down.
We wanted to share that feeling. A space not just for sweating it out, but for connecting — with yourself, with others, and with nature.
The sauna was built to be private, welcoming, and flexible. It can hold 10 comfortably (12 if you don’t mind being cosy), so it’s perfect for friends, families, teams, and retreat groups. Children are welcome with adults, because we believe sauna is for everyone.
Since we began, we’ve collaborated with wild swimming instructors, yoga teachers, sound healers, breathwork guides, personal trainers, and retreat leaders. From Zen Doos (our twist on hen parties) to birthday celebrations, adventure recovery to team-building days — the sauna has become a hub for wellness, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
